About the late 90's or early 2000, Marsalis released a CD with a false name or band that mixed hip hop and funk and appears even some slide guitar .. Gumbo some of it .. Can anyone tell me the title of this CD .. funky as all get out .. Thank you.

Hello I hope this helps, I'm not sure if this is correct, but you can ask for an album called "Buckshot LeFonque" was released in 1994. Buckshot LeFonque was a of their projects and fuses jazz with rock, pop, r & b, funk, and hip-hop as you said. There were also follow up this album, Music Evolution " which was released in 1997.
