Best Funk Bass Guitar

Better bass lines to listen to preferably jazz, blue, funk, ska, and reggae?

been playing bass guitar for about two years (self taught) and looking to expand my horizons… i can google this and find some moderate hearing tunes, but i need some highly recommended stuff. preferably jazz, blues, funk, and ska, and reggae (which Bob Marley album?)

especially something to play around a campfire, where the acoustic guitar mysteriously landed in the campfire and i have my bass acoustic on hand to play for everyone.

i’d really appreciate you telling me Albums instead of songs, but its all good.

I love Marley’s bassist, Familyman Barret. he had such a great melodic sensibility, and always played so in the pocket. His note choices added o much to Bob’s music; he’s the kind of bass player where it’s as much abut what you don’t play as what you do- he really let the music breathe. My favorite Marley albums are Exodus, Kaya, Rastaman Vibration, Natty Dread, and Uprising.
