Guitar legend Les Paul bought the solid body electric guitar to the music world and the way back to the essence of rock and roll. Techniques recording as a pioneer of multi-tracking studies and electronic echoes also came from this acclaimed musician.

It was in 1934 that Les Paul built his 1st guitar pick and in 1941 had created the prototype for the solid body electric guitar. Made of cardboard 4 'wood with ropes, collection and the plug, Paul was named the "Register". We have also included a section of a railroad tie as the base and was designed with two small decorative pieces on it to make it look more like an acoustic guitar.

He built his first recording studio in his garage in Los Angeles in 1945. It was here where he developed multi-tracking, close miking techniques and recording echo delay. The right elbow was broken in a motor accident in 48 and so can continue to play the guitar, the surgeon put his elbow in an angle that he could still play.

When the Fender Telecaster was put on the market in 1950, electric guitars suddenly became the must have musical instrument. It was at this time that Ted McCarty, the company president Gibson Guitar, Les Paul was approached to become a consultant.

Initially, the collaboration between the Gibson Les Paul and was designed to develop 2 Les Paul models for sale. These were the Goldtop and staff had first-quality hardware and a stunning black finish. Faster than anticipated by the design innovations McCarty Gibson allowed to do long term a number of Les Paul guitars for sale. Covering a range of prices in the range has been developed to give the guitars more skill levels, excluding total novice guitar player.

In the fifties and Paul had developed his famous guitar recording and put it to use for your personal record and Gibson retains rights to use this particular design of the Les Paul for sale 'til 1971.

Les Paul was playing his own guitar Les Paul weekly on stage in New York until his death in August 2009. His guitar of choice was a 1972 Gibson guitar recording, much modified in recent years with a 1 piece mahogany body and different electronics.
