What is a better guitar delay pedal? The Electro Harmonix # 1 or MXR carbon copy?

I currently have a Roland 30x cube which has some delay capabilities. My guitar teacher recommended slap echo my color tone I like to fuck with cool effects! What about the Digidelay?

In my opinion, the MXR Carbon Copy is the best. Sounds great, has great analog tone, and has a nice modulation function that actually improves the sound. Oh, and can self-oscillate. If I remember the EHX # 1 is digital, which means more time delay, but the MXR CC I think it sounds better. and as for cool effects, I think the copy is to be great for that. However, its up to you, so I would recommend going to your local guitar center or music store and try them both side by side.

MXR DD11 Dime Distortion Pedal MXR DD11 Dime Distortion Pedal
$119.95

When Dimebag Darrell of Pantera first exploded on the scene, he ushered in a new era of tone and attitude. When it comes to guitar, Dime doesn't need a 'warm' or 'pretty' sound. He can't be bothered with 'vintage' this or 'boutique' that. He wants a heavy, aggressive, razor-sharp tone that can slice through a loud band and a louder crowd. It's a tone that rages with distortion but remains tight and focused enough to keep up with lightening-fast rhythm lines and face-melting solos.
