It really depends … if you're wanting to do some slide guitar blues, I'd say anything by Robert Johnson .. Blues preferebly something like crossroads or Sweet Home Chicago. For non-Slide blues … BB King. The Thrill Is Gone is an obvious choice for a good start. Sweet, simple and to the point.
