Having trouble with recording guitar signal enhancement?
I have an HP laptop with views. I also have CoolEdit Pro 2.0 as the recording software. In the past, my computers (all on XP, I'm this laptop for college) had no problem with me to connect my guitar microphone input and record, but with Vista, the audio enhancement change the volume of my post while I'm playing. I found a way to counter this was the brand of "improvement audio, "but if I do, it only records in mono, that's not what I want them all. I have spoken with 2 technicians from HP about this and are unable to find a solution, I I was hoping someone might have a trick. In summary, I would be able to connect and be able to record in stereo without any automatic volume adjustment. By Please help! PS Would a line of USB guitar ignore this issue?
You should not have a problem. Mono is plugged into. That is that they are connecting left and right channel, not on your laptop Mic. If recording Mono, this does not mean that only leaves the left speaker. Only change the pan to the center, not left. Search also do USB Line on guitar. This is a recording of poor quality. You may want to look at an interface portable audio recorder to record. Cool Edit Pro is very sweet, but has made a lot of ehancements recording software since 2001, when Adobe bought Cool Edit Pro I 'd recommend something like this for a cheap solution. Also comes with Tracktion, which is better than the CAP. Http: / / www.sweetwater.com / store / detail / LinkUSB
