How to make drum beats / techno sounds?

I have 15 years and aspiring musician. I would appreciate anything useful maybe some links or thoughts on how to make music in a genre something close to the bands of "The Set" Ready "Romance of a rocket NeverShoutNever "Stephen Jerzak" "The rockets and radios" and "Lights." I have the guitar and singing talent, but I want to venture out of the class of "Taylor Swift "I have at the moment and play my favorite kind of techno / alternative / indie written agreement.
