Gibson Les Studio

Gibson Les Studio
What’s the difference between a Gibson Les Paul Standard and a Gibson Les Paul Studio?
I’ve heard that it’s just the fact that there is no binding or trapezoid inlays on the studio, but is that a reason to charge $1000 less? Is the LP Studio not made in America?
The differences between the studio and the current “standard” are that the standard has a better finish, different pickups, an Asymmetrical neck, and a chambered body. Also the current studio does have trapezoid inlays and all Gibson guitars are made in America. All this info is for what is currently being sold, old stuff is different and there are a lot of Gibson guitars that have similar names. (Les Paul Standard Traditional Plus, Les Paul Standard Plus, etc.)
