Fender Electric Guitars
Epiphone electric guitars and are more consistent than Fender Stratocasters? What is your opinion?
Sometimes I play a start United States and have no other principle as comparably priced. They seem very inconsistent. Considering that I seem to play an evil or Epiphone Les Paul. Why is that? Do Gibsons and Epiphone have more quality of defense?
Defenders settings really seem to vary much. I imagine that those who settled on Mondays (hangover) and Friday (I have to go drink) are the worst. Wednesdays are probably the best. I've always been partial to Gibson. Heck, I spent so much on Gibson guitars as I have put my son to college. This might just be that I have been playing in that particular scale length, and I'm used to it. All that said, anyone who purchases a guitar from the grid should spend $ 50 on having it configured correctly. When you're working on an assembly line, you have few minutes to set the guitar before the next comes to you (there was an I Love Lucy "episode in which Lucy and Ethel works in a chocolate factory that shows this). The point is, the guitars of mass production left much to be desired settings. The only exception I've found is Schecter. They began as a custom shop, and now have their own line import. I have one of those (in fact, live guitar is my # 1 now). Every guitar that matter passes through his shop get setup on the frets leveled, Slotted nut properly, and the action set in a good average. I took mine out of the box and played a concert after an hour with him (and I have touched the settings since then). As far as material, I personally have to give the advantage to Gibson, but again I'm biased. Let your hands and ears to be your guide! Greetings from Austin, TX, Ken
